Life Book 2014, Week 36 led by Tamara Laporte. We are to create a journal page intuitively - not thinking too hard - just go for it. Ahh, that's my specialty!
We're leaving on our Budapest-Vienna-Prague adventure later today. I'm already packed so I gave myself the liberty of doing a quick journal page before we head to the airport.
I thought I was finished making little bags for my travel stuff, but I still needed just a little something to hold pens, glue stick and scissors to go with my journal.
My own texture added to original photo.
simple to do - couple of layers of felt, button and thread...
We leave next week for Budapest-Vienna-Prague. I'm organizing my camera stuff.
First, I bought this fantastic Kelly Moore camera bag. Last week I made a travel journal. This morning I made a small zippered bag for my i-phone accessories. The only thing left to do now is pack my clothes, etc. I can hardly wait!
Week 34 Life Book 2014 led by Catt Geller. We are to create an art journal book cover incorporating our own artwork. Catt is the originator of something called "Cosmic Smash" books. Her journals are lovely, but I chose to take my own road.
I created a cover using card stock, added copies of my drawings; sanded, gessoed and painted a dollar story children's book and viola - a simple art journal!
Life Book 2014, Week 33 led by Finnabair. We are create a journal page in layers.
Have you ever drawn a blank? My mind was on a different plane this morning. I created a background with acrylic tile adhesive (I didn't feel like hunting around for my molding paste); dripped paint...drew...just went with the flow.
