Blue Chair with Geraniums

I've repainted the flowers on this piece so many times, I'm exhausted.  (It's not meant to be realistic, merely the suggestion of geraniums...)

I made my own stay wet tray to keep the acrylic paints from drying out.  A quick trip to the dollar store to purchase 9x13 cookie sheet and shammy.  Since the cookie sheet is steel (not stainless) I lined with with plastic, cut the shammy to size, soaked the shammy in water; placed it on cookie sheet and covered it with a piece of baking parchment cut to size - so far so good.  Now that I've finished painting for the day, I covered the whole thing with Press'n Seal.  I think it may keep it wet for a day or two - hoping it will any way!

I love to paint geraniums and grow them too. I used a liquid medium to keep the under part of the flower wet. Don't remember what it is called. I like the look you got.

I've enjoyed watching your blue chair series -- bit by bit. Fascinating to watch you work and the end result is very nice!
