la féminité consacré

I love making art dolls.  I have created "boxed dolls" in the past, but never thought about making a shrine.  This week I gave myself permission to do just that.

My materials were simple: foam core board, masking tape, aluminum foil, plaster wrap, Paperclay®, acrylic paint, Aquacolor® crayons, beads, charms, wire, springs, wood dowel - Voila!

I am absolutely thrilled with the way she turned out.

The shrine looks amazing! Love using the foam board for the structure. Nice. And your doll within is perfect! Isn't plaster the most fun?
