Purging...

Losing weight can be a doubled edged sword.  Most of the pants I own no longer fit - a happy problem, I suppose.  It was necessary to purge my closet of clothes, too big, outdated, worn out...to make room for new things I recently bought.  (I still need to go through my ironing pile.  Hopefully, some of those things can be tossed too!)

After sorting, buttons and clothing labels were removed from items no longer good enough to pass onto the thrift store.

Ohh, I love doing that. I used to collect all the buttons with my grandmother, and I inherited her huge jar of buttons that I know use for jewelry. Makes me think of her - thanks for that :)

Losing that weight is not an easy thing to do. It goes on alot easier than off. I was there two years ago myself. I walked past a mirror and no longer recognized the person staring back at me. I am 60 lbs lighter, and love the gym when the weather is crummy and cold (otherwise I am outdoors!) A wonderful share!

If you don't mind me asking...Your last image here, sorting through your clothes....what processing did you use?
