(Mitch, I love you dearly, but you need to get a little closer to the razor - just sayin'...)

Mitch & Me
I haven't seen my son, Mitch, in a long while. I'm so glad we were able to connect over the weekend while I was in Chicago.

Swinging on Your Swing...
Week 20 Life Book 2013 led by Effy Wild. We are to create an artful shamanism (huh?!) Basically, conjure up a symbolic image.
I remember as a child spending many happy hours swinging on a swing. I felt so powerful and free flying high in the air. It allowed my imagination to soar. I was fearless - never mind the danger of falling - it was exciting. I had trust in that tree limb. It was strong. It would not fail me.

Blogging with I-Pad mini
I'm getting ready to fly up to Chicago for a few days to see my children.
I might do some blogging while I am there. I wasn't quite sure how to do that. I found the Blogsy app and am giving it a try. There are helpful how-to videos. (Hopefully, I am doing this correctly!)
OK. I'm ready to publish my first Blogsy post. Keeping my fingers crossed...

My Muse....
Life Book Week 19 led by Shiloh Sophia McCloud (don't you love her name?!) We are connecting with our own personal muse - think red thread connections, invitation to tea, music, etc. Actually, my muse prefers martinis over tea!

Affirmations - Thinking Positive
Week 18 of Life Book 2013 led by Dawn DeVries Sokol. Make a page of Affirmations, including a photo of oneself.
The photo was taken of me sitting on top of my mother's sewing machine. (I don't know how old I was.) I never would have guessed that I would spend most of my time these days sitting at my own sewing machine. Mom knew best!
I tried writing with various pens and markers, but had trouble getting them to show up. I made the decision to "write" my affirmations in PSE using different fonts and adhere these to the page with gel medium. Richard and I picked up a couple of fortune cookies with our dinner on Saturday. I included these here as well.
It is important to think positive about ourselves!
