I like boats. I like to ride in boats. Drawing boats - ha! that's another matter. I made up this little "love" boat. It should have oars because that sail isn't going to take me very far.
I was very unhappy with my original work (see below). One just knows when something is "off." Adding a couple of brayer layers helped this drawing a lot (IMO).

I love the freedom of this and the thoughts of summer that it brings. You are right -- it's absolutely amazing how the brayer takes it from a technically nice piece to one that is dynamic and filled with energy.
